East Wheatland; was born in Ayrshire, Scotland, July 16, 1820, and is the son of Andrew BARCLAY, a weaver by trade; Mr. BARCLAY learned the trade of weaver, and was foreman in a weaving department; in 1856, he emigrated to America, and came direct to Will Co., IL; here he has resided ever since, engaged in farming.
