B. BAUMGARTNER, general merchant, Frankfort Station; was born in Switzerland June 
6, 1833; came to the United States in 1851, and settled in Illinois; his first 
permanent residence in the State was in Frankfort Twp., commencing in 1862. He was 
married to Miss Charlotte MAUE, who was born in Germany in 1839; they have had five 
children, two of whom are living, viz., Emma and Albert; deceased, George, Frankie 
and Lena. Mr. B. is at present holding the office of Township Trustee; has held office 
of Collector and several other offices previously.
