Plainfield, Methodist; Republican. Owns seventy-nine acres of land, valued at $65 per acre; is a son of Lorin BURDICK (deceased); Mr. BURDICK was born in Westford, Vt., March 31, 1833; he came to this State with his parents in 1836, and resided with his parents until he was 21 years of age, during which time he assisted his father on the farm. Married Harriet PAUL; she was born in England in 1834, and died Sept. 21, 1870, leaving eight children - three boys and five girls - Henry, Alson, Seraph, Iantha, Mary, Charlotte, Alma and James Riley. Mr. BURDICK settled where he now resides in 1865. Has not married since the death of his wife.
