O. East Wheatland; was born in Washington Co., Penn., Feb. 9, 1826; son of Jacob and Catharine (BELMAN) DAGUE; father was a farmer, now living in Wayne Co., Ohio, having emigrated there when Mr. DAGUE was but 6 years old; here Mr. DAGUE remained until he came to Will Co., IL, April 15, 1854; here he has remained ever since, engaged in farming and stock-raising, having brought to Wheatland. Twp., the first Jersey stock; this he is engaged in breeding for dairy stock; owns 140 acres of fine, improved land, and ranks as one of the leading farmers of Will County. Married Miss C.
