William DAVIDSON, Joliet; born in county of Cumberland, England, Oct. 28, 1851, where 
he lived until 22 years of age, when he came to America; be first located in Connecticut, 
and from, there to Kankakee, IL, in 1850, where he resided four years; then to Joliet in 
1854, where he engaged in the quarry business, which he has continued to the present time; 
he owns what is known as Davidson's Quarry, located one mile southwest of Joliet, on the 
C., R. I. & P. R. R.
