James DOOCY, farmer; P. O. Peotone; born in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 30, 1853; when but 2 
years old, his parents removed with him to Grundy Co., this State, and afterward brought 
him to this county, where he has lived since his childhood. Was married July 27, 1874, 
to Johanna HURLEY, who was born in Cork, Ireland, in 1857; they have two children - Willie 
and Julia.
