O. Joliet; was born in Troy, N, Y., Aug. 3, 1835. He married Miss Sarah M. BROWN March 21, 1864, she was born in this township May 27, 1839; they have six children, viz., Susannah, Eleanor, Gertrude, Sarah F., James C. Z. and Francis B. When 3 years old, his parents left New York and went to Chicago, IL, where they remained a few months, and then came to Will Co, and settled in Channahon Twp., and engaged in farming. Mr. P. F. remained there until he was 17, when he went to California; engaged in mining and remained until 1861, when he came to this county; in 1864, he went to Montana, and remained three years, when he returned to Will Co. and settled on his present place. He is now serving on his third term as Justice of the Peace; he has also been School Trustee and Director. He owns 209 acres in this county. His parents were among the early settlers of Channahon.
