A. GALLAGHER, hardware dealer; P. O. Spencer; was born in New Brunswick, Dominion of Canada, 
April 25, 1848; came to this State and settled in New Lenox in 1876, where he has since resided. 
He was married to Miss Jane DENNY, who was born in Will Co., IL, Jan. 4, 1848; they have had two 
children, viz.; Elsie May and Jennie M. Mr. G., beside his merchandising operations, owns and 
carries on a farm situated on Sec. 23, and valued at $3,000.
