Charles HAZARD, farmer, Sec. 33; P. O. Wilmington; owns 120 acres, valued at $50 per acre; held the office of Supervisor four years, Highway Commissioner and Justice of the Peace one term; born Aug. 13, 1813, in Sidway, R. I.; emigrated to New York in 1822; remained there until 1852; thence to Will Co., IL Married Fannie BROADRICK in 1834, in Chenango Co., N. Y.; she was born at Conway, Mass., Oct. 31, 1815; have five children - Enos E., Sarah F., Charles D., George B. and Ellen M., all born in Sullivan, N. Y., except Enos E., who was born in New Berlin, N. Y. Mr. HAZARD and his family located on the farm he now owns on his arrival (November, 1852) in Will Co., which was then unimproved prairie.
