Fred KEMPE, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Frankfort Station; was born in Germany, April 14, 
1826; came to the United States in 1854, and to Illinois in the same year; he has been a 
resident of Frankfort for the past fifteen years; his farm consists of 325 acres valued at 
$15,000. He was married to Miss Lottie HAEMYN who was born in Germany; they have had nine 
children, four of whom are living - Mary, Johnnie, Fred and Katie; deceased, Christian, 
Doretta, Willie, Lottie and Henry.
