A. J. LINEBARGER, farming, Sec. 20; P. O. Elwood; the subject of this sketkh was born in this 
township Jan. 7, 1834, and is, therefore, among the first born in this township. He married 
Miss Elizabeth Phillips April 30, 1856; she was born in Germany, Jan. 1, 1834; they have 
three children, viz., Lewis H., Laura E., Emma J. He has always lived in the township; he 
lived with his parents until he was 22 years of age, when he was married and began farming 
on his own account on his present place; he owns 320 acres in this township.
