D. MCCANN, deceased, farmer; P. O. Joliet; born in Fayette Co., Ind., Nov. 3, 1823, 
where he lived and followed farming until 1864, when he removed to Will Co., and 
purchased the farm where the family now live, consisting of 250 acres of land, now 
valued at upward of $50 per acre; he died here Oct. 2, 1873. He married Miss Elizabeth 
HONNYMON, of Union Co., Ind., Sept. 13, 1850; they were the parents of six children - 
William W., Lycurgus C., Charlie W., Irene (died Feb. 28, 1862), Ada and Lillie B.
