L. W. MCCREERY, farming and stock, Secs. 33 and 34; P. O. Plainfield; the subject of this 
sketch was born on the present place May 10, 1857. He married Miss Annie BRISTOL Feb. 18, 
1877; she was born in Ohio Nov. 7, 1855; they have one child, namely, Lena. He has always 
lived on the present place. In 1875, he began farming on his own account on the present 
farm, belonging to his father.
