John MCDONALID, dealer in grain, salt, coal, flour and hay, Frankfort Station; one of our early and prominent settlers; was born in Queens Co., Ireland, Dec. 11, 1823; came to the United States in 1841, and to this State in 1849; his first permanent residence in this State was in Frankfort, where he has since resided. He was married to Miss Elizabeth DOTY, who was born in New Lenox, Will Co., IL; they have three children, all of whom are living, viz., Herbert J., Edward E. and Charles H. He has been a successful dealer in grain for the past nineteen years; he is also serving his third term of office as Supervisor of Frankfort Twp.
