Alexander MCGLASHAN, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Frankfort Station; one of our first 
settlers and pioneers; was born in Scotland May 10, 1822; came to the United States in 
1836, and to this State in the same year, when he settled in Chicago; he removed from 
there to Frankfort in 1843. His farm consists of 320 acres, valued at $16,000. He was 
married to Miss Leah STONE, who was born in England; they have seven children, viz., 
Annie, William, Charlotte, Sue, Laura, Jessie and Edith.
