Joseph J. REICHMAN, of the above firm was born in Baden,Germany, March 17, 1851, and lived 
there until he was 17 years old; in 1868, he came to the United States, coming direct to 
Joliet, where he entered the employ of his uncle, Joseph REICHMAN, in the market business, 
and, in 1874, became a partner in the firm. He was married Jan. 14, 1872, to Miss Christina 
WUCHERPFENING, of Mokena, Will Co., and has three children living - Regina, Julius and 
Amalia; his oldest child, Josephina, died in infancy.
