Ernest RUDD, farmer, Sec. 23, P. 0. Joliet ; born in Will Co., Ill., Aug. 24, 1854, where he 
has always lived, and followed the occupation of farming upon the place where he now resides; 
he owns 50 acres of land, two and one-half miles from Joliet, valued at $60 per acre. Married 
Martha M. MILLER, May 21, 1875 ; she she was born in Niagara Co., N. Y., March 20, 1853 ; 
they have two children - George Sanford, born Dec. 12, 1876; David Clarence, born Aug. 11, 1878.
