William SIEFKER, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Monee; one of our early settlers; was born in Germany March 15, 1825; came to the United States in 1848, and to this State in the same year; his farm consists of 160 acres, valued at $8,000. He was married to Miss Mary HOLDER, who was born in Russia; they have three children, viz., Lewis, Mary and William. Since Mr. SIEFKER's residence in this township, he has held the office of School Director four years, and Roadmaster one year.
