Heinrich STEIN, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Spencer; was born in Germany, Jan. 15, 1837; 
came to the United States in 1856, and settled on his present farm in New Lenox, Will Co., 
IL; it contains 148 acres; is situated on Sec. 34, and is valued at $7,500. He was married 
to Miss Louise STRICHER, who was born in Germany July 22, 1838; they have had four children 
- Henry, Lizzie, Emma and Louise. Mr. STEIN has held offices of Street Commissioner and School 
Trustee, three years each.
