All rights reserved. ************************************************ File contributed for use by: Dori Leekly & Margie Glenn Author: History of Will County IL, 1878 Harvey WARNER, farmer; the subject of this sketch is one of the best known and highly respected farmers of Wesley Twp.; was born in Lima, Livingston Co., N. Y., May 9, 1807, and is the son of Asahel and Sarah (KETCHUM) WARNER, of Columbia Co., N. Y.; his father was a farmer. Mr. WARNER was brought up on his father's farm; in 1830, he married Miss Elvira AURTHER, of New York, by whom he has two children; in 1849, emigrated West to Illinois and settled in Wesley Twp.; here he has lived ever since. In 1851, he was elected Supervisor of Wesley Twp., and held this office for four years; in 1874, he was elected to same office, and holds same office today; this office he has filled with honor to himself and to the people of Wesley Twp. His political opinions are Democratic. When he first came here he purchased 250 acres of land for $2,700.
