WILSON, farmer and carpenter; P. O. Spencer; one of our early settlers; was born in Cortland Co., N. Y.; came to this State in 1835, and settled in Joliet; he removed from there to New Lenox in 1837, where he has since resided; his farm consists of eighty-five acres, valued at $4,500. He was married to Miss Eliza Ann GOUGAR, who, was born in Indiana; they have had eight children, six of whom are living - Charles L., Catharine J., William, W., John F., Lewis F. and Mary L.; deceased, George W. and Eliza A.
